| Gosh, it's been forever since I've updated. So much has happened. I don't even know where to start.
I graduated high school, lost one of my best friends, and am at Upward Bound. The whole thing with Amanda was a mess, but we are talking occassionaly now, so maybe we can rebuild our friendship. I miss her a lot.
It can't believe that the summer is more than half over. I mean it seems like yesterday that me Sara and Sara were at Butcher Holler, or what about the day that we went on an expedition to find Boldman and then proceeded to surprise Ryan Stratton at the Black Lung Office.
I would have never expected life to turn out this way. Although my senior year was the best year of my life, it was also the worst. I can honestly say that I learned many lessons about life, who my true friends are, and how just one little thing can ruin so many friendships.
I woke up this morning and the first thoughts in my mind were senior skip day and spring break with Amanda. I will never forget all of the memories that were created this past year. How could I forget those people crashing into the hill on the Millard curve and having to go to Tommy Thornsberry? Or what about Candie Chaffins hanging out of my window screaming "Go Henry Clay" after Youth Leadership Meetings.
I could sit here and tell you about the many many things that have happened this past year, but it would take me all day. Sometimes I wish that I had wrote in here every day, so that I will always remember those awesome days in high school.
But, to be honest, I'm ready for college, I'm ready for a change. Although I will miss everyone, it's time for me to move on with my life. There is nothing here for me in this town. I wish that I could take all of my friends to Lexington with me, but I now that I can't do that. I know that I will make new friends in Lexington, but I will never forget the ones here.

| Today was another extremely long day. I had to get up at like 7:45 to make it to the Upward Bound seminar by 9.
The seminar was a bore, we took the compass test and then went to the 4-H Extension Office to listen to stories and music from the Civil War.
After the seminar I went to Gattiland to see Josh. I was with Earline. Danielle, Alishia, and Brittany joined us to eat though. After they left Earline and I sat around Gattiland talking to Russ and Ralph and I got to talk to Josh a bit.
When we decided to leave Josh and I made plans for me to come back to see him during his break. So me and Earline drive around, we go up to PC, we went to Goody's, we went on the driver's course and then we drove up to Quail Ridge. OMG. Such fun.
At about 3:15 we met up with Stacy Cantrell at Wal-Mart. We ran into Staci Bowman there. So then we take Stacy up to Quail Ridge. LOL.
It was finally 4 so we went back to Gattiland and I introduced Josh to Stacy. So we all chat for a few minutes and then Earline and Stacy go on to the movies.
So Josh and I talk for probably 15 more minutes or so and then he has to go back to work.
After our departure I go to the movies to meet Earline and Stacy. We watch "Guess Who." After that me and Earl drive around for forever trying to figure out where to eat. We finally decided upon Reno's.
On my way home I called Tricia. We talked for about 30 minutes, it was nice.
I called Josh a while ago, he had been arguing with his parents and didn't feel like talking. Then he apologized if he had hurt my feelings. I'm not sure what he was apologizing for. Shew, I really like him. I just hope that everything works out. | | |
| Wow. What a day. If today could be summed up in one word, I would say complicated. LOL
To start me and Amanda went to get her permit renewed, pick up her dry cleaning, and then to eat at Pizza Hut.
Then we go to Wal-mart. After Wal-Mart we decide to go to JcPenney. So, we go in and then I decide to go outside and call Josh. Well, he's not home, so I call Sara Adkins.
The original plan was for me to take Amanda home, and then for me and Sara to go Gatti's... but Sara backed out.
So me and Amanda decide to call Demetrius and Sara and see if they want to go skating. They do, so we meet them at Food City and then go to Bob Amos Park to kill time.
So then Josh Bostic calls Amanda and we agree to meet him at Wal-Mart. Well he doesn't want to go skating and him and Amanda get in a huge fight and Josh goes on home.
So we all go to Wal-Mart, and Sara and Demetrius say that they don't want to go to Gatti's. So me and Amanda go to Gatti's. I get to see Josh, we talk a bit and then me and Amanda go to meet Sara and Demetrius at the skating rink. Well, they were having a private party there so Sara and D go home and me and Amanda go back to Pikeville.
We go get gas, drive around the movie parking lot, go to Lowes, go to K-Mart, go to Goodies, and then we go back to Wal-Mart.
By this time it's like 15 till 10 so we decide to go home.
When I got home Josh was online and we talked a bit. Well, while I was talking to him Tricia messages me and I think that we are going to be friends again.
Well, then I call Josh and we talk for a while, then his mom got a call so we hung up. And like two seconds later Earline calls my cell, so I call her back, and now I'm here writing this letter.
Normally, I would not give so many details of my day, but I felt that this was necessary in order for everyone who reads this lovely journal to understand what kind of day I had.
So to sum everything up:
*Amanda is a good friend
*Josh Bostic is an asshole
*Sara Adkins let me down
*Tricia and I are once again friends
*I really like Josh C.

| Hehe... ok, I said yesterday was the best day of my life, but I take that back and say that today was.
So, Sara, Amanda, and I go to Chirico's and eat. Then we go to Gattiland to see if Josh is working. Amanda and Sara go in and he's not. So... we try to figure out a way to get a hold of him. So, we go to the public library and get on ICQ. He's not on. So, we find his phone number and call him.
He says he can go out but has to be home by 9:30. So we take Sara to her car, and then me and Amanda go pick him up.
We get there at like 8 and head back to Pikeville where we go to Dairy Queen and then we drive up to the overlook. By then it was time to take him home, so I drop Amanda off and take him on home. I seriously don't think that I've ever been so happy in my life.
He put his phone number into my cell phone, but I think that he pushed the wrong button and it didn't save, and he put my phone number in his cell.
I think we are going to go out again maybe Saturday or Sunday. I may go to Gatti's tomorrow to see him, who knows. Well, if I can find someone to go with me I will.

| Yesterday was absolutely the best day of my life. I got up, tanned, and went jogging. Then I got ready to go get Amanda and take her to Pikeville. We were supposed to eat at Chirico's but there was a last minute change and we decided to eat at Gatti's instead. OMG... So, I walk in and like, pay and then Josh walks up to me and starts talking. So well, we ate and were just sitting there and Josh comes over and asks if we will wait for him to get off work. So of course we do. While waiting we go to Wal-Mart and then we come back and pick him up. So, Amanda wants panties so we have to go to K-Mart and get them. LOL. After that we went and got ice cream from DQ and then we took Josh home.
It was a lovely evening and I hope that we go out again, minus Amanda.
